Hello, I am Tanushree Bose. A user experience designer and illustrator based in Seattle. I grew up in Kolkata, a city in India, which still carries a colonial legacy of British architecture, abandoned dilapidated administrative buildings or renovated spaces that create a juxtaposition of past and present. I grew up witnessing the artefacts of the past and fantasising how was it? What happened to the people and dreams that is no longer there. Such was my childhood, always lost in my alternative world of stories and histories of people. A habit that I still carry to this day. Perhaps this curiosity about stories of people motivates me to work as a designer. Apart from working as a designer, I like to do illustration and always carry a sketchbook to capture the world around me.
